Zero Tolerance

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment or bullying against customers or colleagues, including that based on a protected characteristic.
We make it easy for victims to report incidents, investigate promptly, and take appropriate action where required. We have up-to-date procedures for managing incidents of domestic abuse, hate crime, harassment and other forms of abuse and discrimination.
Monitoring and Improvement
We will collect performance data to help us understand and improve our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion. We:

  • Encourage customers to voluntarily provide diversity data to help us profile our services

  • Explain clearly why information is collected and how we use it

  • Treat all personal data confidentially and store it safely in accordance with Data Protection legislation

  • Review and measure data regularly to inform our performance including lettings, complaints, satisfaction, governance, and recruitment

  • Publish an annual report summarising our activities and progress

  • Conduct equality impact assessments on all policies and significant change programmes

Working with Partners

We take all reasonable steps to ensure our managing agents, partners, contractors and suppliers are actively committed to equality, diversity and inclusion principles. Through our procurement processes, we appoint partners with a robust and compliant approach to ED&I. This statement is based on our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, which is reviewed every three years and more frequently if new legislative and regulatory changes are proposed. Our Board and Executive Team are accountable for embedding our ED&I approach in our policies, procedures and practices.
